Business & Corporate Development Lead— AsiaPac

The position requires a combination of business acumen, emotional intelligence, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas primarily distributed ledger technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and cybersecurity. The right candidate runs certain strategic processes customized within their market from our global strategic plan, visits patrons, benefactors, stakeholders, and influences partners via these processes. Activities include running competitive analysis, market analysis, providing in-market thought leadership directives, startup recruitment, capital partner and family office recruitment, enterprise partner recruitment, and participating in multiple strategic task forces that deliver and disseminate our agenda and evangelize our initiatives across the region.

Minimum Qualifications
-Minimum 5-10 years in B2B/Enterprise Sales in AsiaPac (Based in New Zealand or Singapore preferably)
-Minimum 2-3 years in sponsorship/non-profit/agency preferred

-A robust network of senior level relationships within enterprise innovation and/or CSR departments, startup ecosystems in market, capital and family offices and government economic development relationships.
- Experience leading strategy development in a region and channel with demonstrable business results.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to independently capture, distill, and communicate abstract ideas clearly and concisely to a senior management team.

- Strong collaboration skills including cross-functional team work, project facilitation, and senior management influence in support of complex project objectives with a broad range of team members.

-Bi-lingual in both Mandarin and English (with Japanese and Korean considered as a bonus)

-Desire to earn a strong income on merit while making a difference discovering and nurturing next generation technologies that benefit the broadest set of humanity.

Desired/Not required:

-Advanced university degree e.g., MBA or demonstrable equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science a plus.

- 7+ years’ experience leading multi-discipline projects, deals, partnerships, or related initiatives in product development, management consulting, financial analysis, and/or market research, with successful outcomes.

- Good blockchain, ai, IOT industry knowledge and experience, have broad knowledge about cloud, big data, wireless, financial markets, monetary policy, etc.

- Strong Tech background is preferred.

Compensation:

You will consistently deliver against a quota of sponsorship sales and benefactor donations and be compensated in a base commensurate with experience and large performance-based bonuses and commissions.

- Experience leading strategy development in a region and channel with demonstrable business results.
